This is the blogspot for our new ICM (International Credit Mobility) project between IADT (Insitute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire, Ireland), SAFAA (State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia) and YSITC (Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography).
Our ICM is centred around Capacity Building in Learning, Teaching and Assessment, specifically for small Institutions specialising in Art, Design and Media Higher Education (BA and MA level).
Our mobility will allow lecturing staff from Armenia to travel to IADT in order to job-shadow and to train. It will also permit some IADT lecturers to travel to SAFAA and YSITC, in order to do some teaching, training and project planning.
Though ICM projects do not usually have persistent deliverables, we hope, over the course of our 24 month project, to attempt to develop some form of a 'toolkit' which might be useful to small Art, Design and Media HEIs in Armenia and beyond. This blog will probably form a central part of such a toolkit.
